This dataset consists of qualitative data collected through participatory methods, including semi‑structured interviews and focus group discussions. It also draws on tools such as gender‑disaggregated seasonal calendars, gendered resource mapping, and Venn diagram for institutional mapping. The data was generated to address the research question: How do institutional interactions and their interconnection with intra‑household gender relations shape the climate adaptation decisions of smallholder farmers in Uganda?
