<collection_method>Paper-based questionnaire completed by undergraduate students during a Welcome Week session in their first week on their programme and then at the end of their first, second, third and fourth (final) years. All undergraduate students in two cohorts on the MPharm (Pharmacy) programme at the University of Birmingham were invited to take part and informed that non-participation would have no effect on their teaching or assessments. The questionnaire was based on the validated 26-item Clinical Skills Attitude Scale (CSAS) questionnaire developed by Rees, Sheard and Davies (2002).</collection_method>
